EOS Rebel XSI Prices

The price for the EOS Rebel XSI digital camera has now started to come down. The price for this camera at Amazon is now 20% off which equates to a savings of around $160. Here’s what you get for that great price on one of the best digital SLR cameras you can buy. The body is made of high density plastic and quite durable in construction. It comes with a large 3” LCD screen that is now 30% brighter than the previous model. Auto focus on the EOS Rebel XSI works very quickly but once in a while has some hiccups. The hand grip is quite comfortable and willfit most hands comfortably. Battery life is quite good, having taken over 4000 photos so far and the battery still has lots of charge left in it.

Picture quality for the price of this camera are what sets it apart from others in this price range. They come out so good it’s amazing. From super close up using the macro function to far away with the aid of a zoom lens, they all come out fantastic. Very happy with my purchase of the EOS Rebel XSI.

The Digital Rebel has a separate status screen above the main LCD screen, and the 30D had one on top of the camera, so I wasn't sure if I was going to like the big LCD acting as the status screen and no top screen. The LCD is now 3" with 230K pixels. The playback images look great, and probably because of the higher resolution of the sensor, there's a very slight delay when you zoom in to 10x while the image loads and displays properly.I have had the XSi for about 3 months now and I am thouroughly impressed with it.
I have had some great success shooting in a studio setting as well as some great outdoor shots.
