Review of EOS XSI

Review of the EOS Rebel XSI. Having used the camera for about 3 months I have to say I’m very happy with my decision to purchase this camera. Not having owned a digital SLR before I was a little leary of buying one. I’ve always liked Canon products and decided to take the plunge. I have to say in this review of the EOS rebel XSI that the most important thing is how good do the pictures turn out and to that I have to say amazing. The battery life is excellent, over 4000 photos and still going strong, amazing actually. The live view isn’t really designed for beginners and isn’t designed to be a replacement for simple point and shoot. operation.

The other part of this review and probably the one that most are interested in, picture quality. I’ve had a lot of success shooting indoors as well as outside. Inside with the flash the photos turned out great. Skin tones are right on the money. Outdoor shots come out equally as good. One thing I’ve found is that you can get some amazing close up shots. I tried shooting a bee sitting on a flower once and wow, I couldn’t believe how good it came out. I totally recommend the EOS Rebel XSI to just about anyone.

Rebel EOS XSI Review

This camera takes some very beautiful pictures. You can read the other pros because they're all the same and I'm just going to name the few cons. By default the camera loves the flash. Not on the manual settings but on the automatic settings. Some people complain about the size of the camera, but I have rather small hands which I suppose has worked to my advantage. Basically, it's fantastic.
Paired with good lenses the rebel XSI can provide jaw-dropping images with incredible detail.
The Rebel XSI is a truly awsome camera with great features and a sensor that can really make make use of top-notch lenses.
